My cul de sac should be residents only but isn't, but it's about 20 minutes brisk walk from Putney Bridge.
  • If you're at fours head, give a shout for my City of Oxford womens crews, I can't come down 'cos I'm coaching the people who didn't make the cut

Hmm - I am staying in the travel inn on the north bank - suspect their parking will be full when I get there at 10pm!
  • You'll be hard pushed to find free parking in Fulham but in Putney I know the parking is free on Saturdays in Egliston Road - which is towards the Putney Common end of Lower Richmond Road, but close to the south bank of the Thames and no more than a 10 minute walk to Putney Bridge. Some of the other roads next to Egliston Rd may also be free on Saturdays.

Putney is a massive pain in the arse to park in, particulalry on a race day....

You might be better parking at Richmond in the Multi storey behind the station and getting the tube there - or take you bike and cycle - you can ride down the bank.

Dunno which way you're coming in, but there is rugby at twickers, so the M3/A316 will be a car park

Gotta take boat riggers, dog and wife (as she is racing) and associated kit.....won't fit on bike :-(

I am not looking forward to this - think it is gonna be a morning of me farting about in the car delivering stuff and parking up.

Tideway events are a little bit horrible. I did HoRR a couple of times, and its pretty high on faff.
