Hiya,
Been riding now for 12 months but really want to get into downhill riding, I love trail riding but would love to feel the addrenaline rush of some of the downhill tracks around the country.I've done a little research on bikes and i'm favouring the giant glory at the moment, what are peoples veiws on this bike and what would they reccomend?
I forgot to mention that i am 37 would this be a problem? Obviously i will get all the armour as it will probably take me a lot longer to heal than someone 10 years younger lol .
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Age won't be a problem at all. What sort of budget are you looking at spending? Are you looking to buy new or 2nd hand?"Melancholy is incompatible with bicycling." ~James E. Starrs0

The scotts tend to have VERY VERY short top tubes which can be a problem for some people.
Otherwise it is OK."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

You mean Giant Glory 1 2008?
Similar spec to the Gambler just different geometry.
If it suits you, and if you can find it under 1500£ it will be good.0 -
