Shameless plug for the Fairbridge Raid Pyrenean 2009.

Starting in the town of Hendaye on the Bay of Biscay, the Raid snakes its way for 714KM across the Pyrenees to Cebere on the Mediterranean coast. Eighteen major climbs are ancountered en-route, includign such Tour legends as the Peyresourde (1569m), Aubisque (1709m) and Tourmalet, which stands at a whopping 2115m above sea level.

The Fairbridge Raid team will depart England on Saturday 20 June and return on Saturday 28 June 2009. The Raid itself will start on Monday 22 June and run for 100 hours, finishing at lunchtime on Friday 26 June.
