I've not gone into the office today (the wonders of WFH - although we've just had 3 sets of twins round, so not too quiet!)

Did a little trip en velo to the GP for flu jab, but nowt else. I really miss my pathetic 5 miles each way run...

Am making up for loss of ride by listening to good cycling music...

It's just a hill. Get over it.

I haven't ridden to work for three weeks - I know how you feel x 15!

In fact I am a fake - I really ought to find a forum entitled "not commuting" and stop pretending I ride my bike....

I did cycle to work today, so nerrr :P

But I did miss it yesterday when I bussed it. According to Mrs. G I'm a whole different person since starting cycling again.
Today is a good day to ride

I've only done the commute one way this week - mainly due to increasingly complex things on the bike breaking. I miss it, especially since i've recently moved house, so it's longer and potentially more interesting.

Ne'er mind, it's getting serviced on monday, so there'll be no excuses Tuesday!

  • God I hate it when I can't cycle. I really need to work out a way to carry my suitcase on my bike. At the moment it's only ever illness (severe) or work-related travel that stops me.

    Not cycling makes me grumpy.

The fact that I have GIVEN UP ( ) the daily commute, AND the fact that my other riding is at a minimum because of darkness and busy w/ends, means that I now feel like I am now 'Michelin Man 2008'.....

Actually though I did cycle to work on Sunday, which sort of counts, even though the school was obviously closed, and I cycled my 10 mile round trip to college on Tuesday and I did do body combat and spin and walk the dog and walk all morning on a school trip today and cycled to take my son swimming and and and and ...

I still feel like a bucket of lard

Does anyone want to become my online personal trainer......? :)

Oh I have ridden, just not to work. It's a fair way, and I have loads of stuff to carry this week. Oh, and it was half-term last week.
I don't go a single day without riding somewhere..... :D

I recall last time you brought this subject up someone mentioned dragging your case along behind you, well as stupid as that might seem it seems people do, Harry Enfields dad has written several sort of travel books in which he recounts a person doing just that, I had almost forgotten Edward Enfield appears to be a player of "the Game"
