Individual Campag Cassette Sprockets

Hi

Does anyone know if and where it's possible to buy individual Campag cassette sprockets? GIven that wear throughout cassettes is normally uneven from sprocket to sprocket and that they can be easily dismantled it makes sense to replace then individually. I've done this in the past to build six speed cassettes from newer shimano parts but now i run 10 speed Campag (and the cost of these cassettes is higher) it seems worthwhile.

Cheers

  • Guidance i was given on this a couple of years ago was that whilst other manufacturers such as Stronglight and Miche make Campag pattern sprockets for sale individually, Campagnolo themselves do not.

I was also amusingly told on the phone to their factory ones that buying Ergolevers was "like shoes! Only 2!"
"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

Sounds like a UK distributor / shop line. Campag very definitely do make replacement sprockets (like almost every other part you could think of they're in the spare parts catalogue), it's just that availability in the UK is rubbish.
  • U can get them individually in the Marchisio range in various sizes.

    try www.parker-international.co.uk.

  • Thanks

Looking at the prices though it's only worth it if i need less than about 3 sprockets on Veloce, on my best bike it may work out but it has closer ratios so will probably see more even wear. Also, it does far fewer miles so will most likely last a long time.
