What type of gin?... yes this is a test

Bombay Sapphire by preference. Ubiquitous green bottle london dry gin if there's no choice.

    Test passed.

    Ignorance isn't an excuse...failed

    Millers
    Tanqueray 10
    Hendricks

those are the gins of a true gentleman... try them.. you wont go back
    Tanqueray is rather nice too

I'm not a big gin drinker, but when I do, my preference is for Plymouth. What have I just revealed about myself?

Unspeakable things, likely putting it in the tea cups of old ladies and tieing them to your bedposts.

  • Dylan Moran does a great segment on his show about how gin isn't a drink but a mascara thinner - women go from hostess with the mostest to sitting on the stairs crying because nobody likes their shoes...:lol:

    I have seen this happen.

    It ain't pretty.

They don't call it housewife's ruin for nothing.

That sketch is great, and perhaps it is a ruinous drink. It also led to the following scenario...
Me: I'll have a G&T please barkeep, and what would you like (to my gf)
    Gf: a guiness.

    Shamed.

  • Cant remember my last poison after Friday night. there was a number of things. I have now taken the massive decision to stop drinking for the rest of month as my body needs to recover and I need to save some money.

My poison usually cyanide. Helps me get to sleep in the evening.
The doctor said I needed to start drinking more whiskey. Also, I’m calling myself ‘the doctor’ now

Frankly, that's better than the thing about old ladies. I don't think I'll ever look at a G&T in the same way again...
