Weird title I kno, anyway I just want to post it here incase the off chance he is on here, he gave me a good run along oxford road in Manchester, he seemed to be on an old road bike, on the drops all the time, normal clothes, dunno about backpack, but was belting it along 23-25mph, I stopped at one pedestrian crossing as it just went red and I had to do a good 26-30mph to catch him up, he said something too but I could not hear. I was surprised, I dropped off in end at a busy crossing to take it steady rest of way, he should be in races.
Was about 10:45PM.
Anyway if you are on here drop a post in here , was a good run.

I need to get out a bit more than I have been.
How long will the ride be? I'd be happy to come along although I reckon I might be abit slower than you.Onan wrote:

Messengers? In this day and age? What are they messaging? I would not be surprised though as the way he was riding he looked in a rush, I was right behind his wheel at some points as he seemed to get tired out but tbh where I stopped at the traffic lights and he kept bombing along I don't think I could hold it that long, he'd be even faster in cycle stuff
Most cyclists I see I manage to overtake them and never really have them catch up, I thought the same here, but nope he'd be right behind me all the way and perhaps overtake me0 -

Ha ha, don't worry about the speed, I'm sure once we hit the climbs I won't be able to keep up with you.
Distance is negotiable.0 -

Where will you want to meet? My fitness is disappointing at the moment on hills, but the more hills I get in the better it will get back up.0 -
