Brompton Gearing

Hi, I haven't posted since the cycling plus forum became bike radar.
I'm going to buy a 6 speed Brompton but would like some advice on the gearing options.
The bulk of my time on the bike will be a flat 4-5 mile commute, but I will be doing some harder hillier rides.
The standard 6 speed is- 3.22m to 6.87m (213%)
With the following options:
12% lower
8% higher
Any thoughts??

Firstly - hold on until new year as Brompton are bring out a new hub gear to work with the 2 speed which will have a much bigger range. (Article on bikeradar about this ..)"I thought of it while riding my bicycle."0

My experiance with the B always leads me to beleive that the lowest option is best. They just seem overgeared to me, but then I'm a spinner who likes to coast down hills ! !0
