Bags when racing

I have a problem. :?
I don't drive so when i'm going to races TT's etc, I have to take all my gear on my back.
I currently use a 35L Lowe Alpine rucsack and it's getting old. I'm having a problem finding a replacement. My problem is finding a good bag which can hold all my gear, be accessable and importantly I can ride it with a helmet.
This is the biggest problem. The one i have pushes my head down and is difficult to ride in.
Does anyone have any ideas?
