Ok so could someone plesae tell me the main differences between road and mtb carbon seatposts please? I dont mean the aero ones, just a bog standard round one...
Are road seatposts not as strong for the same diameter?

Yep, MTBers have longer ones than roadies, and usually a bit stiffer too.

lol so strength wise there is nothing stopping you mixing and matching then? Say using a road post in a mtb if it is long enough?
