Fan clubs...

Do many riders have fan clubs nowadays other than cyclo-cross "stars"?
I am thinking of pick a completely random rider from the pelton and creating a fan club for them.
A quick bit of website action, nick a couple of images (with appropriate credits!) and seeing how many members I can get (free!) by monstering the various decent cycling forums out there (and cycle chat) and telling the world how brilliant rider 'x' is...
Anyone got any suggestions on who I should pick?
(Please note this isnt meant to be based on rider ability, but can be based on comedy names. Sadly Christian Knees has a website already)
Knees - already has fansite, the git

I have a thing for english named foreign stars... Sven Montgomery, par example.
Or how about one of the various climbing "hopefuls" with the most basque names imaginable that Euskaltel send like lambs to the sluaghter each year. I have an ikurrina at home that needs some wavin'!"In many ways, my story was that of a raging, Christ-like figure who hauled himself off the cross, looked up at the Romans with blood in his eyes and said 'My turn, sock cookers'"

I agree with the cuckoo why not
especially if you pick some complete unkown it will be a good confidence boost if they get to hear about it!'Do not compare your bike to others, for always there will be greater and lesser bikes'0 -
I am thinking an obscure pro maybe two seasons in who has no real results.
What is that website that lists all the riders and teams and stuff?0 -
There's some old guy making a comeback next year. I believe aurelio has already started a fan club for him...Le Blaireau (1)0

Dimitri Champion. C'mon, the name just says it all.
Plus he rides for Bouygues Telecom, he's French, and he's never won a single flippin' race in his entire career. He needs all the support he can get!0 -
