I imagine next years race will be pretty special with basso and Armstrong there in prep for the Giro...

    I think so also. I'm planning to take 4-5days off and to visit family and catch 2-3 days of the race. I hope the weather is better than last years! It will be interesting to see the reception of Basso and Lance. I'm pretty excited about it. The Basso/LA battles were just starting to "heat up" before the calamity started. I'm not so sure they'll be battling for the overall, leading everyone else by 6 minutes. They may be thrust into support roles, struggling to stay top 20.
