I have a mtb with 26'' wheels and 2.0'' tyres. I am thinking of upgrading the tyres.
What is the biggest size tyre that can fit on my 26'' rims?
I would like to put 2.1 or 2.2'' tyres but i do not know if they are compatible with the rims.
Please advice.
Thanks!

How wide are the rims? And will the frame have clearance?0

what are the rims. as the width of them is important.
but you should be fine with those sizes."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

The frame has clearance. but i dont know the size of the rims...is the size indicated on them (rims)?0

Yes, but thinking about it you should be fine as nick says. Sometimes printed on ie 559x17 (the latter been the width in mm). 17mm good for up to about 2.2.0
