I'm looking for a pair of waterproof shoes/boots for flat syle pedals. All the bike ones i've seen are for clipless pedals. Does anyone have any ideas of some around the £50 mark?

I have been looking at some of the walking shoes, do you think they would do the same job or should i get bike specific ones?

None of them will keep the water out entirely. Even waterproof hikIng boots will leak from the top. Your best bet is to invest in waterproof socks like the long sealskinz ones. Even then, in very heavy conditions, these will leak as the water runs down your legs into the top of the socks!
