Hope Vision 4 Broken

Just thought I would publicise this as my nearly new Hope vision 4 has broken - when riding tonight I noticed the light kept flickering. This was when the wire going from the headunit to the battery moves. I have narrowed it down to wear the cable passes into the back of the light as when I "wiggle" it the light skips through its power cycles. Also when I turn it on all the power cycles are messed up. I will be sending it back to Hope tomorrow and I will just see how good there aftersales really is! Anyone no what this could be or had the same problem?
