What are your thoughts on the Dawes XC 1.6 07?

Hi there, im new to the forum, bought a Dawes XC 1.6 07 not so long ago and it seems to be a great bike. Just wondered what you guys thought?

    Can't help, the only Dawes bike I had was back in the early 80's it came with hospital tyres and cost me £430.

    After two weeks the frame had to be replaced, then it had the habit of chewing mechs up.

    After I had a bike custom built for me I lent the Dawes to a friend, he rode it into the back of a car, the frame was a right off. Replaced it with a 16" black frame from Covent Garden Cycles with a seriously short top tube. Still in riding condition in my shed now.
    Now where's that "Get Out of Crash Free Card"
