Scott Scale 50/70 Spec

Went for a ride this weekend.
Half way round the circuit we swapped bikes.
My brother rode my Scale 70 and I rode the 50.
I felt the 50 accelerated better and there was more feedback.
Both bikes the same size.
Could this all be down to a difference in tyres?

Could be due to lighter tyres, lighter wheels, lighter forks, better set up for the terrain, could be any of many factors.

Could also be the "why does someone else's chips taste better" effect.

Hmmm, or the grass is greener.

Tyres do vary the feel a bit, but I suspect you've just had new/different bike syndrome
