Well, here I am just trying to get enough energy and willpower together to get back on the bike after 5 months. Don't really know why I stopped, I just went through a bit of a busy phase and one thing sadly failed to lead to another. And summer was - well you know.
Anyhow, just purchased MBUK again to try to get my head in the right place, serviced the bike (one completely seized rear mech sorted), and now charging up my Ay-Ups ready for the off.
I LOVE riding. I just sort of fell out of the habit, and now feeling rather fat and unfit. Words of encouragement welcome !!

Girlfriend bought a new bike in the summer and I dug out my old 94 Scott... spent 3 weeks hiking and biking in the summer in the lakes..
I'm still in the honeymoon period (new bike helps) looking forward racing the Gorrick spring season and a week in grizedale at the start of november.
Just back in from the garage sorting out my old bike as a roadie hack to train on.
Feels good :-)Kona Kula Supreme, the hardtail

Well, that's two one-hour night rides under my belt since I posted, so I guess I'm back in the saddle. Now to get fit again....
Keep peddlin.
