Reba Forks

I sought advice here a few days ago - basically I'm looking to upgrade my old Judy TT forks and was looking at Tora 318s. Someone recommended I pay a bit more and consider Rebas. So, been doing some research and have a couple of questions I'd appreciate help with :
BTW my riding is mainly recreational with occasional jaunts to places like Glentress.
1. Are Rebas noticeably better than Toras 318s?
2. What's the practical differences between the various Reba models (Team, SL, Uturn etc). Is there one model which is regarded as the basic standard and the rest just have additonal features for example
(Am I the only one who finds the Reba range confusing !)
Thanks

Reba is lighter, multi adjustable, just as strong and stiff as a tora.
A much better fork, and perfect for what you say you want to do.
SL is the OEM version that comes on a lot of bikes as stabndard. Team and race etc come with extra features like external floodgate adjustment which don't really make it worth the extra £££ IMO
Go for the Reba SL if you can afford it from Merlin or CRC0 -
The reba world cup has a rather pleasing carbon fibre stantion... :-)
I found that to be quite important!Kona Kula Supreme, the hardtail
Scott Spark 20 the softtail
Cannondale CAAD9 the roadie0 -
the reba qr forks are not as stiff as the tora 318, and the damper is the same bar the fixed floodgate. For harder riding i'd say the tora was the better fork, for xc and trails the reba is better.0
