I have just been given a set of DT Swiss 240's centre lock hubs. I am currently running Avid Juicys with 160mm, 6 bolt rotors. Does anyone have experience of using the centre lock adaptors you can buy?

are they any good? or can i buy a different rotor that is compatible with the Hubs and Juicys?

Cheers Nick, In your opinion is it best to buy new rotors or the adaptors?

no comment both work but adaptors and current discs will be lighter.

  • Just a point to watch out for with Shimano adaptors! They expect to fit a disc that is a constant thickness one-piece unit i.e.the majority of discs. They DON'T fit Hope floating rotor discs as the centre spider is thicker than the braking surface. This could be expensive for me as I might have to buy new non-centre-lock wheels to be able to use my shiny new Hope brakes......unless someone knows a way round this predicament?
Not sure about the DT Swiss adaptors but they look similar.
