Bikes you dream of commuting on

For many of us commuting is the closest we'll ever get to racing. Whilst on our commute as well as taking in all the life threatening situations we encounter we are also indulging our imaginations and dreaming of riding the good race and of being Armstrong, Cavendish, Hoy etc - well at least I do.

I'm happy with my bike I really am, it does the job, but it doesn't stop me from dreaming of what I could tear the roads apart with. So I ask what bike (with image if you can) do you dream of commuting on.

Me? Whilst I would say Bianchi Via Nirone 7 or Wilier Izoard today I stumbled on this it insipired this thread as tear came to my eye:

Look at it! Just look at. I'm slightly aroused

I've got to say in the summer months cycling may be lovely but I miss my moped a LOT.

Jash, could you take a test-ride on this lovely bit of kit and give us a report, in particular in comparison with the Prince?

But it's *yellow*. Surely you don't expect him to test-ride that - it won't match with his kit...

    Well where would I start!
I think a Prince would be up near the top of the list and certainly one of these:

I quite like the integrated bottle above the BB :-)

Not very practical and I'd want to lock both up indoors, preferably in a bomb proof room!

I wouldn't mind trying a Focus Cayo as something more realistic tho :-)

well I've not got much use out of my Madone 6.9 Pro yet so it would have to be that in summer.
