Now that the winter is fast approaching i'm considering investing in a turbo trainer.
My initial thought was just to bolt my bike into the trainer as it stands but i'm beginning to wonder about wheels and tyres.

Do i need to factor a trainer specific tyre and/or wheel into my costs?

Thanks
Steve

might be useful - certainly for the tyre, yes. Highly recommend the Continental home trainer tyre. You'll find you eat through 'normal' tyres very quickly. Wheel - no, use your usual one.
