Avid hose replacement questions..

Hi,
I broke my Juicy 3 calliper over the weekend and have picked up a second hand one off ebay that should arrive this week.. The hose on the one off ebay is just a little shorter than the one I have currently on my bike so chances are I am going to have to use my original hose..
So the question really is can I simply unbolt it from the old one and bolt it to the new one and then bleed the system or is there more to it than that? I mean I don't know if the hose connections are single use or if its just a seal..
Where is the cheapest place to get a bleed kit or is there a cheaper way to make up a bleed kit?
Any other advice on doing this would be welcome.. Don't want to end up breaking something else..

yep just unscrew and fit the the other caliper.
buy an Avid bleed kit."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
