Does anyone own the Fenix E20 Focus?
I am looking to get a helmet light as I have an Electron EHP 315 set that I use on the bars. Seen loads of threads for the L2D Q5, but what about the E20? I only need it for my helmet so was just wondering if it is good enough or I need to shell out the extra £15 for the L2D Q5?
I like the idea of adjusting the focus on the E20 and don't think I would use the extra functions on the L2D Q5.
Also would the Twofish lockblock fit a Giro Hex helmet ok?
Thanks
Craig.

Not sure about the torch but my fenix is held on with a bit of rubber as a base and a hairband looped through the vent on my helmet - same idea as dinotte use on the bars.0

Yeah I suppose that would work, do you ride trails with your Fenix?0

Well its nothing gnarly - but I've been riding the trail at the country park near me - old disused railway - 10 miles long and no lights - its been great for that. Good workout for a crap mountain biker !0

I have the E20 Focus and the L20D (the new replacement for the L2D).
I have done a write up on another thread and will try to take some pics for comparison at some point.
The long and the short is that if you dont want loads of different modes and if you dont need the turbo mode on the L2D then the E20 will be just as good (in some ways possibly better) and a bit cheaper.
Personally I think it would do just fine for what you want. I rode home on friday with just the L20D on the front on High (non turbo) mode and this was fine on its own although obviously a second light would have made it even better.0 -
Thanks for the advice.
I would be really interested in seeing some pictures of it in action apreading, thanks.
I rode Coed Y Brenin the 'Temptiwr' trail the other night in the dark for the first time, what a laugh! Rode loads of times in daylight but night riding gives it an extra dimension.
I was happy with the way my Electron EHP 315 set (with two 10w halogen bulbs) that I bought over a year ago worked, just need a helmet light, had some sketchy moments when I couldn't see the trail.
I think I will order the E20, sounds ideal for what I need it for.
Has anyone fitted a Twofish lockblock to a Giro hex helmet?0
