Yup gears on the rear are a skipping, time for a new chain and cassette gears i take it?

It's an xtr so i'll be looking at replacing the steel ones if anything, the ti ones look new.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

The rear gears skip when under load, will it mean replacement of said chain and gears?

Im presuming it does, but i always like a second opinion. ;)

  • best option would be to replace both as they will bind together better than just doing one or the other, you may find that with just doing either the chain or gears you may still have the same problem.

Also mite be worth checking wether your freehub body is slipping while your at it.
