On my way to work this morning, I thought it'd be an average commute. But two drivers made it really nice. So, cheers to both!

It shows really good driving. In the first case, a lorry driver waited until I went through a pinch point and then gave me plenty of room while overtaking. The second driver waited until she could clearly see the road ahead and then actually overtook me as if I were a car -- in the opposite lane!

I could not decipher the registration of the lorry, but I e-mailed the company with the time and place details asking them to pass on my compliments if they could find the driver.

Nope -- I'd get into trouble at home

  • I don't want to sound picky, but the car driver overtook you right in the middle of the zig zag lines, which (I am pretty sure) would be fail in a driving test.
