Bye Bye Bike Comp!

As I was riding to work this morning I was fiddling with my bike computer, it was a Cateye Velo 5 that I have only had a month, to see what the time was. As I pressed the button it flipped off the bracket, not sure how I managed it, and it bounced down the road. I glanced behind me to see where it landed and I saw it drop between the grates in a storm drain never to be seen again. I wasn’t happy :x but at least I get to buy a new one!

Anyways can anybody recommend a decent bike comp for about £20-£30?

I've got a trek Incite 11i with cadence. The battery died today but apart from that it's good

My mates cateye with combined HRM flipped off the bars once as he pressed it to see how far we'd gone. It fell into the road and by the time we'd pulled over - there was a stream of traffic.

Three cars missed it, but the fourth squashed it. It was awful - numbers all over the road....

...what is good about my Trek Incite is that when the battery died and I replaced it I didn't loose my total milage...
...all the way...'til the wheels fall off and burn...

Oh that's good news - mine died this morning after a malfinction where it thought the temperature was 43 and my speed was 22.3mph - up a vicious hill!
