Are they kevlar bead? Worth paying extra for them.
Xc and commute tyres will always be a trade off for one type of riding.0 -
Im not sure if kevlar bead I could ask, but is 2.10 rather narrow?
I am using nobby nics, but the front one is bald, is it just worth buying a new nobby nic, even though they are expensive?
Thanks0 -
Many report durabilty problems with Nobby Nics.
Tyres are rather subjective though - I use 2.0 for XC.0 -
Nevegals are way better than Nobby Nics , IMO, especially on the front.
2.1 is a good compromise size if you're commuting and MTBing. We all rode 2.1 or less everywhere for years.0 -
Yeh I have had my nics for a short time and the tred on the rear has worn.
Very poor for the price.
Wont be buying again.0 -
They wear fast because they have a relatively soft compound to give you all the control and grip they offer so there trade off alwyas somewhere.0

Ok
Say I go to sunset and they are not the kevlar ones and they are just basic, now for 27.00 for the 2, cant really complain.... Can I
But was also looking at Panaracer Fire Xc pro, but everywere I phone they only have the red stripe ones, which im not a fan of because my bike has got a white black and blue thing going on.
I done really know what Im talking about, this is the first time I have had to buy tyres, the last bike I sold, and have not biked for ages before this, so this is my first bike for life.
Please help only got a lunch time tomorrow to decide as going on saturday.
By the By what is afan like for a guy that has not done trails for years and years, just doing the wall or something like that. recomend any good trails there?
Thanks guys for all your help.0
