Bought a Polar CS600 and want to transfer the data to my laptop via infra red. Does anyone know if I need the actual Polar IrDA USD connector which is about £30, or will any compatible IrDA USB stick work ? sorry IT is not my forte

No you can get any IRDA USB adaptor. I got one from maplin for about £15
