triple clamp forks

I have recently changed all the parts over from a stock bike that i bought to another frame .On completion of this I have noticed that the front wheel is further back . From this I assume that the frame that I bought (previous) is designed for triple clamp forks !
On further investigation of triple clamp forks I have viewed foksets with different offsets of steerer tube to stanchions. Is there anybody out there clued up on this, ie are there different degrees of this measurement ?
I was told that the frame was 'Blunt' by make . But I've asked a few people and they've never heard of it !!

Pics please.
and what fork have you fitted and what was removed. the offset between the steerer and the stanchions iis only half the story. (actually less than 1/3 the story)."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

is this it?
If yes them a max 130mm Single crown fork is suitable."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Yes , thats the frame . However the forks I have fitted are single crown with an offset of what looks to be about 16mm . But at that I'm catching my front tyre with my toe sometimes whenst turning ! I take it your talking 130mm travel ?0

if they are what i think they are a 60mm (maybe less) "sus" fork with no offset at the bottom of the leg then yes you will have problems.
most suitable forks will have 40mm plus from center of steerer to center of drop out and have an axle to crown race height (extended) of over 500mm
Sorry the fork is totally unsuitable and the bike will not be nice to ride."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

It is a cheap 130mm (max) travel Dual/4X type frame that sold for about £80 when new."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."
