i just bought a new road bike, after having this Giant peleton for i think a couple of years, the thing is i bought it 2nd hand and am now thinking of selling it... Does anyone know what year it was made? or how much you think it is worth now?
i have changed the wheels and that is all really, but i probably wont sell it, i like riding it too much, although it is pretty heavy with its steel frame..

would appreciate any info u might have

thanks h

p.s the pic was taken in the isle of wight recently, i would recommend cycling the island to anyone, its such a great place to ride.

your chainset and chain is well worn...

mid/early 90's? ..lugged steel frame... vertical dropouts

    old shimano 105?

    its a nice enough frame...

My Peloton has STI and was new in 2000, so I am guessing mid nineties. I believe that frame to be aluminium but I could be wrong. As mididoctors says, Shimano RSX 7 speed?

It is worth next to nothing in that condition to be honest. Personally I'd fit a new chain, chainrings, cassette and cables, give it a full service and keep it as a winter / pub bike.
