hey.
so i swaped some disc rotors for a blackspire as1 chain device.the chain guid is made for chain rings 38t-44t but i would like to run a 36t with it.is there any way of doing this im thinking maybe milling some more metal off of the back plate so the roolor could slid in more.would this work?/
any ideas

Have you not fitted it yet then?
Try it as it is. Just rotate it clockwise around the bb 'til there's tension on the chain.
If your bikes a full-suss rotate it more so that there's still tension on the chain throughout the swingarms travel.
If it doesn't work then maybe alter it.0 -
why would you want it to move in more?
it will not help anything. sell it or get a 38 T ring or suck it and see how it goes.
On a single ring set up the ring is always in the same place."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

so there would be no way i could fit it with a 36t chain ring and it would run smoth.
if not do you recon this chain ring would be ok
