Blackspire as-i 38-44t

hey.

so i swaped some disc rotors for a blackspire as1 chain device.the chain guid is made for chain rings 38t-44t but i would like to run a 36t with it.is there any way of doing this im thinking maybe milling some more metal off of the back plate so the roolor could slid in more.would this work?/


any ideas

    Have you not fitted it yet then?

    Try it as it is. Just rotate it clockwise around the bb 'til there's tension on the chain.

    If your bikes a full-suss rotate it more so that there's still tension on the chain throughout the swingarms travel.

    If it doesn't work then maybe alter it.

    why would you want it to move in more?

    it will not help anything. sell it or get a 38 T ring or suck it and see how it goes.

    On a single ring set up the ring is always in the same place.

    so there would be no way i could fit it with a 36t chain ring and it would run smoth.

    if not do you recon this chain ring would be ok

    I still think the 36t would work ok with it. Try it. If not the 38t Blackspire ring you've linked to will definitely work. Good price too.
