Does this bike look too small for me? (photo inc)

Hi all,

First off, my mate got an 08 Genesis Core 20 on Saturday so went went out for a blast to get him used to it all again. It's been 10 years since he was last on a bike at all!

Anyway, I took my camera with me for a few shots and my mate took a few of me. For those who remember, I posted a few times about me bike being too small. I ordered blind off the internet from CRC assuming it would be okay. Here is the photo. How does this look to everyone? I look far too big for my eyes. I'm still in two minds wether it's right for me.

It does for XC and trail riding. I can't imagine when sat that the seat is high enough. Looks short too.

But feel is imortant. Try the same bike, next model up.

I do and I don't. The bars are narrow, 640mm, and mayeb wider bars and a slightly longer stem may help. Been riding it now for 5 months. Bought on finance too before I looked about. Just jumped at the first one that I seen, this one, on CRC.

Try sliding the rails back on the seatpost, or getting a new longer one with layback.

I also have that in mind too. I just hope I wont ruin the handling and feel by doing so. The seat is right back on the rails at the minute.

It could tip your weight too far back compared to the BB. Only one way to find out ;-)

Very true. I'm really kicking myself because of the stupid mistake of not getting out and trying sizes and seeing other offers.
