Hiya has anyone bothered with the Bicygnals, these are bike lights with front and rear lights and wireless indicators.

If so are they a good value for money. Or a waste of time as other road users pay no attention to them.

There've been various attempts by manufacturers to get indicators that work on bikes. They always come up against the problem that no-one expects a bike to have them, so don't notice them.

I'm hesitant about these. I work on the principle that motorists only see what they expect to see. In terms of cyclists it is a stuck out arm. I just think that these bicycle indicators are too novel for most motorists to take in and they just won't realise what they're seeing.

At £40 a set, i wouldn't consider them 'value for money'. Agree with above two posts about their usefulness too.
  • I saw a set on a bike last night, they never flashed once so either were broken or the rider had given up on them. Also they looked too big & unwieldy
