Just bought a Genesis IO.

Replaced the rigid forks with a set of marzochhi mx pro lo forks.

The caliper (Hayes So1e) appears to be IS mount (slightly unusual, as I'm sure they normally come as post mount, but I'm sure it is IS mount.)

The forks are post mount.

Original disk size was 6".

Now I think I need one of these

, plus a 180mm rotor to make them fit, but before I order another bracket and a new disk, can someone confirm that I'm correct.

Thanks

    correct.

  • That did the trick. Did need to put a small shim between the post mount and the bracket, as the shape of the post mount on the Marzocchi's fouled the bracket very slightly. But no filing required as was suggested by the CRC reviews. (Guess either technique would work, but it only needed about 1.5mm extra clearance, and with the extra shim (from a V-brake block) the pads and the disk lined up perfectly.)

Took the bike out for it's maiden voyage last night :D:D:D
