Thus proving he has even less balls than Armstrong

I wonder whether Bruyneel threatened hinm with a Gusev or a Landis

You know what I think? Armstrong saw that Contador had a real chance to break his TdF record so he decided to nip it in the bud by makinhg him ride waterboy for at least 1 Tour.

Like you say, victor, bad for racing

So what you're saying is that Contador is a doper and that Bruyneel is forcing him to stay by threatening to get rid of his dope? Nothing to do with the small print in his contract?
  • Less show?
    Twaddle!
Assuming LA is capable of reachieving the necessary form to be a genuine Grand Tour rider, do you think for a monment that Contador's going to be happy playing super-domestique for him?
You lot talk out of your arses some times. Sorry to put it so bluntly.
What's Bruyneel going to do if Contador goes on the attack and takes yellow from Armstrong? Send him home on the next flight? Slip him a Mickey Finn so he tests positive?
Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.
  • The problem I see for Contador is that he will lose time to Armstrong in the time trials. And as everybody knows, it'll be really difficult for him to drop him in the mountains.

I think he could be 20-30 seconds down after the prologue.

According to the possible route posted on Velonews (which may or may not have been completely fabricated by a bored journo) the 2009 TDF only has 55km of TTing in total... and the first stage TT has a big hill in it.

I actually think Astana will be looking to 1-2-3 in the Tour and they'll let the top three fight it out among themselves on the big climbs.

Quite how you know he has no balls etc when you don't even know the structure of the team. Let me guess if he had moved you would have said "Shows he has no balls for the fight  "

I think some people can be negative whatever happens.

    +1000

I wonder why some people even watch cycling at all...... :?:

Good that Contador stayed at Astana, Lance going for the Giro and hinting that might even be his only GT surely must relax Contador...
But even if LA rides the Tour, I doubt he'd beat Contador.
  • let them both fight it out on the alpe (if its going there. please let it go there), winner takes all, LA vs AC, astana vs astana. now thatd make my summer. :D
even better would be if andy schleck kicked both their arses.
  • Good news for Contador, LA may give TdF a miss according to Eurosport.com

Not that I believe that he could have beaten AC anyway :)
