    I was cycling into RP along Lower Richmond Road the other day, from the lights at the High Street I'd passed a laydey rider, as I pulled off at the Roehampton Roundabout she came past me making me realise she'd drafted me from the crossroads on Putney High Street all the way to the park....as I'd sang along to my iPod all the way...oh the shame.

    Now, thinking about the whole talking on the bike thing.

    I took note today of what I do and on the whole I have realised I'm too busy huffing and puffing to be able to talk.

    I growled a bit which took me by suprise. And I talk a lot to cars as they pass, usually to tell them in a very quiet chatty way that they were too close or most considerate.

    All perfectly acceptable I'm sure....

    i found myself saying to myself

    "this is lovel, f"%*ing lovely weather" the other day which was a one off, but more often just give myself encouragement, was insihing a 25 mile ride the other week and going up steep hill shouted "arghhh" to give myself a boost, a scally on mopehead went passed and nearly fell off his bike cos i scared him, very funny i thought
