Today, I did something special. After a lapse of at least three, probably nearer four years and at age 69 I went for a ride on the bike. Not far, but 'by 'eck' I didn't 'arf enjoy it. I'd almost forgotten the sheer joy of riding. Mind you , the weather helped but I've got the urge now so fingers crossed that I can keep up the enthusiasm. Now where did I put those TT entry forms from way back when ?

    Great to hear of your return to cycling, and what a great day to have chosen. I managed a nice 50 miles out to Southport and back and I don't think I've ever seen so many people out on their bikes before.
