We went up to trail on saturday morning,got there at 9am,not a soul to be seen(except a bloke with a really nice Cannondale lefty) done the North Face bottom section as a warm up and then the full trail,the rain has washed away all the loose surface making it really fast and grippy,although some loose has built up at the side of some parts of the track as i found out at my second run,the bike cartwheeled down the track leaving me in a big heap,cut and bruised left knee,left calf,arse cheek and sore left elbow,right elbow and shoulder now coming out in sympathy,still thats whats its all about,see you next weekend,same time,same place. :D

    so is the altura trail properly open now?

    i normally do the north face, but according to the forestry commission website the altura trail isnt finished yet! :lol:

    i'm going up there in a week so would be good to know, ride something else etc :)
