Trail foods for coeliac sufferers (ie, no wheat or oats)

This is a bit of a pain... I was diagnosed with coeliac disease a while back, so I'm on a complete exclusion of wheat and oats. (I might be allowed oats later, but not for a year or so if ever).So, obviously most of the popular trail foods, flapjacks, energy bars etc, are out the window. Oh, and I absolutely hate all nuts, I know that's being awkward but they're horrible :)

So, any suggestions for alternatives? Bananas, obviously (even got me a Bananaguard!) but they're quite bulky. I've found a tesco's Free From breakfast bar which is just fruit and... whatever it is they make gluten free bread out of, sawdust I think. Not too bad... Anyone else out there in the same boat who can suggest something better?
