Does anybody have any experience of these? There's a pretty cheap deal going on Tredz.co.uk and I'm definitely tempted. No idea of size, but I can probably try out another Scott at my LBS.

Am I right in thinking great frame, slightly less great components?

It looks to me like a good value, classic XC bike. Rather than Scott put the money into disc wheels and brakes, they have put it into the frame and drivetrain. Fork is ok, damped and adjustable if a bit weighty.

Thanks supersonic, I'd be very sceptical about buying without trying, so opinions are much appreciated.
