Need to get to the bottom of the scheme:

How often can you buy a new bike on Cycle to work?

Can you buy more than 1 at the same time?

Are you able to do it through a local tax office?

Thanks, advice appreciated :)

How your scheme is constructed is down to your employer or they facilitator they choose.

The scheme does not specify how many bikes can be bought, indeed it specifically mentions that more than one bike may be appropriate if an employee needs to split their journey say because they need a bike at either end of bus or rail journey.

The main limit is that most organisations do not have their own consumer credit license and as such they rely on the DfT which restricts the total cost of purchases under cycle to work to £1000 inc VAT.

Generally you would not be permitted to enter into any new salary sacrafice until your current one has finished therefore how often you can purchase is down to how long your organisation runs their salary sacrafice.

The only people that organise the scheme are your employer and you cannot run it through your local tax office unless they happen to be your employer.
