Disc brakes and racks.

I need to buy a rack for my work bike, which is aTrek 7.3 fx disc. Do i need to buy a disc specific rack or will a normal one fit?

    Probably a disc rack, the rack has to clear the caliper - Wiggle have a Lifeline one, very good for £25, otherwise Topeak do one, £30 ish.

    On a similar note, I'm thinking of putting a disc on the front of my winter bike and would like to run a full length mudguard - is that possible?

    yes, just clamp the stays a little higher up the fork using P-clips or similar.
    Recipe: shave legs sparingly, rub in embrocation and drizzle with freshly squeezed baby oil.
