If you were the guy in the green jacket who went across the junction with Shurdington Rd, Cheltenham this evening, I was the bloke who said "That was a red light back there mate". I think you said something about the lights being just about to change but I didn't hear properly.
In hindsight, you were right about the lights, although I didn't see if the other set was changing as you went through. TBF tho', you went past me pretty quick and the light for us was blatantly red. There is no view to the left, so if some other driver had the same idea, you'ld have been minced
Anyway, I wouldn't normally speak out like that but it felt right at the time to make a point. Safe cycling and no hard feelings if I meet you again

I used to live near there 25 years ago - brought back happy memories. I miss Cheltenham. There were many RLJs in those days, mainly on Choppers! Times don't really change......Ho hum!0

I have to say I don't see that many RLJ'ers, at least not really dangerous ones. There has been a definite increase in the number of cyclists round the town recently, which is great. Still more would be even better.
Its a shame they won't get rid of the stupid race-track, I mean, one-way system round the town. We seem to get boy-racers from all over the region on the weekends and you take your life in your hands on some of the 'quicker' sections
I hope your new location is somewhere pleasant and clean. I fancy Canada myself.......0
