anyone out there taken the plunge and bought Wiggle's new Kiron Scandium?

Looks like a great bike for the dosh and wondered how owner(s) have found it.

Edinburgh Bike Coop do a very similar Scandium bike for the same price, bur with Ultegra Groupset and Easton bars etc.

I don't think they do it any more though. I looked at it earlier in the summer when they had one left in stock, they told me they wouldn't be getting any more.

Looks like this will be the bike under a grand for 2009...best bang for your buck...with everyone else putting their prices up.

Wonder why they didn't just label it the Easton instead of Kirion?!

Although I don't think it looks like a grand bike - fairly low rent paintjob?!

  • I have a the Kiron, purchased a month ago and I'm mightily impressed with it :D
Changed the bars as they were to narrow for me but other than that it's a fine piece of kit for the money.
