There is a big bright yellow ball in the sky!

It seems to be hot!

It hasn't rained for 12 hours

Is the end nigh??

I was going to post about this. The sky is absolutely clear! I'm told its what the invading alien race does as a means of intimidation... "Look at their mighty ships'.

Clear and BRIGHT blue sky in October, after all the horrible weather and mostly grey morning. Its an Alien Invasion!!!!

    The sky is falling!!!

    THE SKY IS FALLING!!!!

    AAAAARRRRRGgggghhhhh.......... mummy?

Biggest surprise i had this morning was the total lack of wind. The flags at the local sports car dealer were completely limp

I would love it to be like this, this evening. I've never commuted with NO wind at all before

Unfortunately a ride in the sun isn't on; leave home at 0530 and get to work at 0645.
Leave to come home at 1700 - sun may still be shining but you can't see it in the city canyons...................

I've been sending out CV's all morning for jobs that don't exist while looking at the blue sky outside....I'll go for a ride after lunch, that'll make being unemployed a bit more bearable.

Beautiful in Devon at moment. Unfortunately an earlier physio appointment meant I had to use the triumph motorcycle to get there and back quick.

I almost got blinded the other day, wet roads and low sun was not a good combination!

That doesn't sound unfortunate to me, it sounds like a 'no lose' choice! :)

    Fear not!

The big yellow ball has disappeared again

The sky has returned to grey and it's beginning to rain.

It's the second time this year the big bright sky thing has been observed:
