Vicky P on "This Morning"

Just saw an advert during ad break on GMTV this morning, where 3 Olympians (Addlington, Vicky P and one other) will be on "This Morning" this morning "getting a much needed makeover"

Maybe it's just me, but does Vicky P need a makeover?
Already signed up for the following 2010 rides:

Etape Caledonia (May 16th)
AMR's Trossachs Ton (June 20th)
AMR's Cross-Border Sportive (Sept 19th)

    I bet the ruddy presenters need a 1/4" layer of makeup on to make them look half-decent though :x

    Interesting how these incredibly fit young olympic athletes apparently need a "makeover", wheras GMTV presenters need their stomach stapled. I know who is setting a better example to the nation.

    Hey there,

    I remember Mark Beaumont was given a makeover, but in all fairness he badly needed it after all those months on the road.

    I guess most people would change the channel because they don't know who they are, so the producers throw in some hairdressing crap to keep them interested. It's so sad.

    I'm sure GMTV did not force any of the 3 onto their show, nor did they force them to have the makeover.

    How about respecting the choice of the 3 to have makeovers

    My OP questioned whether Vicky P's makeover really was "much needed" - which was the direct quote from the promo. As such I think everything said after my post has been completely justified.

    More worthy programming than ITV daytime telly? Well, it's not exactly a tough task to better the Daily Mail-lite self-righteousness of GMTV (also, does GMTV still feature the 'talents' of washed-up over-the-hill boozehound Cheggers?), the dreaded Jeremy Vile, sorry, Kyle show or This Morning and its insultingly easy licence-to-print-cash phone-in quizzes - as are the ones on GMTV, come to think of it.

    It's still on Channel M through the night.

    GMTV is rubbish. Is it so hard to put an attractive woman in an short skirt on tv in the morning? Here's hoping Jenni Falconer gets Fiona Phillips job when she stops. I'd get up for that ;)

    I don't ever watch morning tv, because my little boy wont allow anything other than 'Finding Nemo' on the telly. But, this week, he and his mother have been away visiting friends whilst I decorate. So, since Friday I have watched breakfast tv every morning before starting the days painting. Today, decorating finished, I went out to buy some stuff for me and the bike, and now I find that I missed Vicky P! :shock: :evil: :evil:
    That's sufficient excuse for a rant, I think....F**K, F**k, F**k!!!
    Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!

    I have now been informed that Hopper! little boy is 22 and is 6'6" tall and weighs 20 stones. He also is the local Mr Big, and so obviously if he wants to watch Nemo he is not going to be contradicted

    Victoria P' looks tidy! I've never seen her in non-cycling kit before. I'm kinda diggin that! I normally dont think cycling lends well to women being attractive/sexy (sorry, I've never actually met a pretty cyclist.... except for this one young lady I pass on my way into work sometimes - Condor bike, brown hair, tanned skin... mmmmmm..... anyway, please excuse me from generalising heavily, I'm sure there are hundreds of beautiful female cyclists out there.. I've just never met you lol)
