Cyclocross on an mtb.........

Thinking of trying a local cyclocross race, can you enter on a mtb bike?

    I believe it depends on the race, often the top flight ones you can't but many do allow mountain bikes - i'm sure a local one would be fine with it. Maybe check with the organisers?
