headset and Tyres for P7

Any suggestions for a headset for Orange P7. Mines died after less than a year. Would prefer something maintainance free that lasts forever. (not asking for much am I!)
Also need to replace the tyres. Most of my miles are Dartmoor ones. I would like something that doesn't need a resident gorilla to fit them as I do interchange with some touring tyres.

Headset, for the ultimate in fit and forget, chris king, comes with a 10 year warranty, very cheap from aspire velotech in the states. Otherwise anything with sealed cartridge bearings, FSA orbit 2 xl is a good 'un.
For tyres try panaracer razer mx, coupled with a rampage up front, very nice and fast, but controlled. For deep mud swap for a pair or 1.9" trailrakers.0
