blackburn Mars 3 help

I have just recived my blackburn Mars 3 ready for my Winter commute. This might sound stupid, but how do you get the caseing off to insert the bartteries. The three screws have be'n loosened but there is no way that the back case will budge. I dont want to force it in case the caseing cracks. Am i missing something? Thanks in advance

Take the screws completly out & then you need to carefully prise the lens apart from the rear casing, I've just bought one of these and had the same problem. BTW excellent light.

I was absolutely stumped, pulled and probed a bit entirely arbitrarily and, equally arbitrarily, it eventually sprung apart. Not a clue what to do next time!
